A.N.G.E.L.O.'s historical archive contains more than 180 thousand clothes and accessories from different periods and places. Visits require prior reservation.

This material library of fashion attracts fashion professionals from all over the world, especially insiders of creative offices, stylists, journalists, museum experts and researchers. It is a mecca in the history of costume - both for research and for renting garments for study purposes, photoshoots or exhibitions.

At A.N.G.EL.O. we love preserving the past with care - but we are also excited to adapt to new technologies and making the archive experience charming, functional and customer-oriented.

This is the reason why we created the project "Digital Vintage", aiming to digitalize every piece in the physical archive and make it visible online under through a web platform - creating a unique service at an international level.

This project aims to offer to fashion professionals the possibility to access the archive remotely, from abroad or far from the geographic position of the archive. Types of services will be increased (online rent request after selection of pictures, purchase of product photobook) and will allow for more users to access it at the same time.

The archive service will thus improve and be more efficient. Customers will be able to access a precious historical heritage wherever they are.

With the "Digital Archive", A.N.G.E.L.O. will offer a combination of unprecedented services to a wider and more diversified range of customers, contributing to the promotion of Made in Italy and the preservation of the history of fashion internationally.

The project is co-funded by the European Fund for regional development.
