EXTRAORDINARY OPENING AT A.N.G.E.L.O. VINTAGE PALACE
For the whole month of December A.N.G.E.L.O. makes all its staff available to receive you in the warm setting of its shop and to coddle you in every your request.
VINTAGE. L'IRRESISTIBILE FASCINO DEL VISSUTO
An original trip into the history and evolution of the most contemporary trend in fashion and, in the same time, a homage to the evocative power of the fashion style of yesterday.
The exhibition “Vintage. L'irresistibile fascino del vissuto” organized by the Museum of Fabric of Prato Foundation (Chamber of Commerce of Prato, Commune of Prato, Provincial Administration of Prato) in cooperation with the Bank of Prato, SAPERI srl and Popular Bank of Vicenza together with the Vice Presidency of ACTE Italia (Association of European Textile ) and dedicated to Fashion Vintage, will open on the 7th December 2012 at 6.30 pm.
The initiative was developed in collaboration with A.N.G.E.L.O. Vintage Archive, one of the most significant and researched italian vintage archive and due to openness of prestigious Fashion Houses such as Gucci, Salvatore Ferragamo, Pucci and Max Mara e of Osti's Archive.
The exhibition intends to tell, for the first time, how the practice of used clothing, deep-rooted in the history of Clothing and Fabrics, was able to inflate the concepts of lived and second hand clothing with an irresistible charm creating a real costume phenomenon and to retrace the origins, developments and reasons that let vintage to become a nearly essential element in the contemporary design of Fashion and Fabric.
Through a thematic pattern supported by accurate chronological references, articulated in four different sections with more than 100 garments and fabrics displayed, the exhibition takes up part of the suggestive location of the Historical Rooom and the wide rooms of the Museum's first floor, with 800 mq of exhibition space in total.
In occasion of the opening the catalogue “Vintage. L'irresistibile fascino del vissuto” realized by the Museo del Tessuto in collaboration with Silvana Editoriale Publishing, will be available.
For all the weekend of December, a vintage temporary vintage store with a selection of garments and accessories from the rich collection of A.N.G.E.L.O. will be open at Museum of Fabric.
This winter Molinella 23 get dressed vintage. The elegant Boutique of furniture and wedding list, located in the historical centre of Faenza, will host for the winter season the world of A.N.G.E.L.O.. The opening of this new collaboration will be on Saturday the 17th of november from 17.30 pm with the event "Vintage Christmas" where Angelo Caroli, the owner of the historical brand, will be the guest of honor. A 10 mq space in the shop, will be dedicated to a selection of women garment proposed by the field's guru: from classical, timeless and bon ton pieces for all the occasion to the flashy and unconventional ones. An unmissable chance to approach the world of vintage running the risk of getting involved in it forever!

From the 23rd to the 27th January 2012 the Leopolda Station of Firenze will host the event that from a Fair of Vintage and Remake has became a real Festival of the Vintage Culture that, every six months renews its agenda of exhibitions, events and communication initiatives in the fair's location and in the city.
A.N.G.E.L.O. Vintage Palace, that has been involving from the beginning in the organization of the fair, will partecipate with a wide sell space and an assortment of garments and accessories selected to inspire the public: not only fans, collectors and sightseer that look for something orginal, but also Fashion Designers, Cool Hunters and creative people from the international brands that generally meet each other in Firenze for Pitti Filati, the Fair organized by Pitti Immagine that takes palace in the same days in Fortezza da Basso.
A.N.G.E.L.O. AT THE 16TH EDITION OF MILANO UNICA
Milano Unica is the main international fair organized in Italy and fully dedicated to the presentation of the Apparel fabric and accessories' collection. It has been created through the vast experience, fine quality and tradition of four prestigious Italian exhibitions, Ideabiella, Ideacomo, Moda In, Shirt Avenue. This unique, composite project is held twice a year (February-September), presenting the finest quality products from both Italian and European textile manufacturers.
